Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 80 External SSD 960 GB (IKVP80ES/960G)

The external SSD is Kingston's first innovative, operating system-independent, hardware-encrypted external SSD with a touchscreen that offers enhanced privacy. The VP80ES protects against brute-force attacks and BadUSB with digitally signed firmware. The brute-force attack protection automatically cryptodestructs the drive after 15 failed attempts of admin and user passwords.

The drive is FIPS 197 certified with XTS-AES-256-bit encryption, supported by a Common Criteria EAL5+ certified secure microprocessor, and is TAA compliant. With the user-friendly VP80ES, which unlocks as easily as a smartphone, files can be transferred via drag and drop while keeping the data protected.

The Vault Privacy 80ES features an intuitive color touchscreen and the option for multiple passwords (admin and user) in numeric PIN or passphrase mode.
