With the overall foil shielding (F/UTP), this cable type has been used reliably in many installations for decades in the prosumer sector as well as in the professional segment, as it can be used for Gigabit Ethernet without any problems. It has been manufactured and tested according to the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packed in a polybag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free plug connections over very long periods of time. The snagless clip protection prevents the snap-in clip on the plug (jack protection) from breaking or tearing off. This allows the cables to be stored and processed without the clips getting caught in each other.
