These cables are even a faster network cable than Cat6a. It provides a convenient and reliable connection from one network device such as a switch, modem or router to another or to the entire infrastructure via a patch panel, a harness jack or a wall outlet. This cable is also commonly used in small office and home networks as well as in entertainment applications. The cables are tested up to 600 MHz, but are manufactured with Cat6a connectors that meet the minimum standard up to 500 MHz and are backward compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 cables. Each cable is manufactured with a hook that prevents the connector from being damaged when you install the cable through an installation with very little space. In addition, this cable is manufactured with shielding. This protects against electromagnetic interference (EMI). EMI can cause crosstalk between circuits, resulting in degradation of data, increased errors, and slower transfer rates. However, with this shielded cable, you can avoid this problem.
