The Galaxy A16 5G is the best Samsung in the A1X series to date. The main positive features are the reasonable speed, the large, bright OLED screen and the long update guarantee. If you have a little more patience and don't need such a large display, you can still opt for the predecessor A15. And if it doesn't have to be a Samsung, the CMF Phone 1 from Nothing is better (199 euros, score 1.6).

In the entry-level class, Samsung's Galaxy A15 5G offers the better package with solid update prospects and fast wireless connectivity.

If you want an affordable Samsung with good technology, you should go for the Galaxy A55 - there hasn't been a better and more stylish A model to date. However, the slightly cheaper A35 is hardly any worse. And if you're patient when it comes to working speed, the A15 is a new Samsung with an OLED display and 5G for less than 150 euros - but with a slower processor.
