The initial installation of the receiver is completed after a few keystrokes. Clear and easy to understand on-screen menus facilitate further settings as well as daily operation.
The two reception units (TWIN tuners) of the HRT 8770 TWIN require no complicated settings, no additional cables and no special antenna. After the initial installation is completed, both receiving parts are automatically available. While recording a station, it is possible to switch to another station. Of course, the HRT 8770 TWIN also records two broadcasts at the same time. This works both on keystroke and timer-controlled. While the receiver is recording, it can simultaneously play back existing recordings.
Time-shift television is also possible. To be able to use the recording and timeshift function, you only need to connect a USB hard drive to the receiver.
The receiver is also suitable for receiving the unencrypted channels of digital cable television.
