Question about TUF GAMING B660-PLUS D4 - 625917

Does anyone has issues with ethernet connection on this motherboard? In my case it works for a while than it disconnects from internet, the only way to make it work again is to reinstal the drivers. I ended up using WIFI eventually (which is a pity as I have fiber internet and the ethernet connection could squeeze a bit more speed from it). I read that there's some intel chip on it that causes the issue, but it's rather rare and none of the solutions works. If you had the issue and fixed, can you post it here? I'm too lazy to strip the whole PC and send the motherboard for warranty, but if's required then I'll do so.

Hi

It is well known that the I225-V can cause problems. But I meant that it has improved massively with the v3. I use the board for my ESXi server. That means it is running 24/7. So far I have not noticed any failure of the NIC. The difference to you, however, will be the OS. ESXi is Linux and therefore has different drivers.

Which drivers have you installed? The ones from the Intel site directly, or the ones from the ASUS support site?

I have an MSI MPG Z690 Carbon WiFi in my desktop. This also has an I225-V and runs 24/7, and no problems here either. I have installed driver version 1.1.4.42 on the MSI.

This may help you
