Gardena Smart Sensor

The Gardena smart Sensor determines the soil moisture via an extra large sensor zone exactly where it is important, at the root of the plants. Either deep in the lawn and flower beds or in less deep flower pots. In combination with the Gardena smart Water Control or smart Irrigation Control from the Gardena smart system, the sensor ensures demand-oriented and efficient watering of the plants. The smart sensor transmits the current status data to the Gardena Gateway via radio. If the sensor measurement shows that the soil is moist enough, the next watering is skipped. In addition, the smart sensor also measures the temperature close to the ground. The flat sensor protrudes only 20 mm from the ground and can therefore remain on the lawn on which a robotic lawnmower is in use without damage.
