Torsion-resistant cast aluminum basket in flat design with internal ultra-strong neodymium magnet. This allows us to achieve the shallow mounting depth of 41.5mm without loss of sound.
We use a flat centering of heat-resistant linen for long, controlled voice coil stroke.
For long durability, the strands of the leads are woven into it. The 30mm long-stroke voice coil is made of epoxy high-tech fiberglass and responds very spontaneously and quickly to music signals. Large vents in the basket below the centering provide good cooling and low compression.
The diaphragm is injection molded with carbon fiber and attached to the chassis with high damping rubber surrounds. Additional diaphragm damping by five asymmetrical stiffening beads.
This enables a first-class bass response.
The Neo-30 enables excellent stage imaging from as early as 2,500Hz - the most important prerequisite for carhifi at the highest level. In conjunction with active crossovers, the lowest crossover frequency can be 1,500Hz/24dB. High power handling and efficiency provide additional sound pressure reserves for undistorted live volume.
