Product details
The Simera 28mm have a wide aperture of F1.4 and a 14-blade diaphragm that creates a stunning bokeh that perfectly sets subjects apart from their surroundings and creates a mesmerising sense of space.
With a smooth focus roll-off, they create a visual aesthetic that transcends the boundaries of ordinary perception and creates poetry with every shutter release.
The Simera 28mm features high refractive index (HRI) lens elements and an aspherical lens that precisely corrects focus curves and spherical aberrations.
With a minimum focusing distance of 0.4 metres, the Simera 28mm allows the user to discover the subtleties of the subject with exceptional detail. The subtle resistance at 0.7m on the focusing ring provides tactile feedback to intuitively indicate when the rangefinder can no longer focus and the EVF (electronic viewfinder) should be used instead for optimum focus accuracy.
Features:
- A large aperture of f1.4 ensures a round and dreamlike bokeh
- Click and de-click aperture mode
- Close focusing distance of 0.4 m
- Rangefinder focus warning at 0.7 m on the focus ring
- Automatic depth of field indicator
- Vintage look in keeping with the Leica aesthetic
