The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series in protection class S2/S3 is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is aimed at industries such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade.

These shoes are particularly lightweight and flexible, featuring a 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation. They have a compact design, anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and are non-magnetic. The non-metallic, anti-puncture insole complies with the latest standard specifications and does not impair the flexibility of the shoe.

Manufactured with new last technology, these shoes offer exceptional wearing comfort. Optimized wearer comfort is provided by uvex climazone technology, along with a hydrophobic and breathable, especially soft cowhide upper leather. Optimal ventilation is ensured by the Distance Mesh lining material.

The shoes feature individually adaptable, elastic laces with a quick lock, and standard exchangeable laces are included. The nearly seamless upper construction helps avoid pressure points. A removable comfort footbed is antistatic, equipped with a moisture transport system and additional heel and forefoot cushioning.

The soft padded collar and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of an especially light and highly shock-absorbing midsole and a very good anti-slip outsole, free of substances that interfere with lacquer wetting, such as silicones and softeners. An injection-moulded polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather over the toe cap, significantly extending the service life. These shoes meet ESD requirements for leakage resistance.
