The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series in protection class S2/S3 is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is aimed at industries such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade. It features a particularly lightweight and flexible, 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation, compact design, anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and non-magnetic properties.

The non-metallic, anti-puncture insole meets the latest standard specifications without impairing the flexibility of the shoe. Manufactured with new last technology for exceptional wearing comfort, it offers optimized wearer comfort thanks to uvex climazone technology. The hydrophobic and breathable upper is made of especially soft cowhide leather, providing optimal ventilation through the Distance Mesh lining material.

The shoes come with individually adaptable, elastic laces with a quick lock, and standard exchangeable laces are included. The nearly seamless upper construction helps avoid pressure points. A removable comfort footbed is antistatic, features a moisture transport system, and provides additional heel and forefoot cushioning.

The soft padded collar and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of an especially light and highly shock-absorbing midsole and a very good anti-slip outsole, free of substances that interfere with lacquer wetting, such as silicones and softeners. An injection-moulded polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather over the toe cap for significantly longer service life. The shoes meet ESD requirements for leakage resistance.
