The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series in protection class S2/S3 is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is aimed at sectors such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade.

These shoes are particularly lightweight and flexible, featuring a 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the newest generation. They have a compact design, anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and are non-magnetic. The non-metallic, anti-puncture insole meets the latest standards without impairing the flexibility of the shoe.

Manufactured with a new last technology, these shoes offer exceptional wearing comfort. The optimized wearing sensation is thanks to uvex climazone technology. The hydrophobic and breathable upper leather is made from particularly soft cowhide, providing optimum ventilation through the Distance Mesh lining material.

The shoes feature an individually adjustable, elastic handle with a quick lock, and a standard replacement handle is included (model 6502 only). The almost seamless shaft construction helps avoid pressure points. The removable comfort footbed is antistatic, equipped with a moisture transport system, and includes additional heel and forefoot cushioning.

A soft padded collar and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of a particularly light and optimally shock-absorbing midsole and a very slip-resistant outsole, free of substances that interfere with lacquer wetting, such as silicones and plasticizers. An injected polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather over the toe cap, significantly extending the shoe's service life. The shoes meet ESD requirements with a leakage resistor of less than 35 Megaohm.
